Gus Bonin
Founder and CEO
As the founder and CEO of ACT One Health, Gus has been a pioneer in the development and execution of a healthcare model that has replaced the traditional barriers and challenges of our current healthcare system with advanced telehealth solutions offering greater access and higher quality healthcare at a lower cost. He has also revolutionized and expanded telehealth capabilities in areas that include patient access to 24/7 telemedicine from a multidisciplinary care team, in-home, real-time monitoring and patient engagement, and medication adherence and management solutions.
With more than 20 years’ experience in medical company operations, Mr. Bonin is an industry leader in developing initiatives to deliver community-based healthcare educational programs, increase brand awareness and grow sales/revenue. He excels at identifying opportunities for strategic collaborations between healthcare providers and facilities to meet practice goals and support positive patient outcomes. His initiatives have turned around many underperforming business units.
Some of Mr. Bonin’s previous experience includes:
- Founder of BOCO Medical, focusing on DME distribution specializing in wound care
- Co-founder of Wound Team, a practice of wound care certified nurse practitioners providing care to high-risk patients in nursing homes
- Consultant, educating healthcare providers about preventive services, creating strategic initiatives for a rehab hospital chain and integrating a NP practice throughout the continuum of care for a regional health network
- Teaching CEU classes on pharmacogenetics testing to behavioral health providers
- Serving on Humana’s Baton Rouge Health Advisory Board

Frances Sagona, MSN, RN, CCM
Vice President of Clinic Programs
Frances Sagona, MSN, RN, CCM joined ACT One Health in 2021 as the Vice President of Clinical Programs and focuses on virtual population health services. She earned her master’s in nursing from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2004 with a major in Health Care Systems Management which prepared her to focus on planning, developing, and monitoring healthcare programs and services across diverse types of healthcare systems. Frances holds a professional certification in Case Management, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Training Certification through University of Alabama, Birmingham, and John Maxwell Coach, Trainer and Speaker.
Frances is an active board member for a large Federal Qualified Healthcare Center in Louisiana and collaborates with peers to evaluate operations, productivity, and achievements. Also, as a member of the Quality Improvement Committee at Arbor Health Center, she contributes insight and direction to the successful quality initiatives and outcomes.
Previously, Frances served in successful executive leadership roles with a keen talent for addressing operational challenges and focusing on problem solving techniques to resolve and redirect her areas of responsibility. Frances is a life learner, and her career continues to be dedicated to Care Management, Clinical Education, and Governmental Health Insurance Services.
Although she is always busy with work and multiple projects, Frances prioritizes her family first and is always willing to stop for a family gathering or a moment to reconnect. Her greatest joy is mentoring others to find their happy place in career choices as she has managed to do with her profession.
